Call+Response Movie Bringing Human Trafficking Even More Into The Spotlight

I am so thankful for all those who are responding to the issue of human trafficking. Christians and the public at large are responding in a huge way.  There are more awareness programs, ways to help, and people writing to the appropriate Government officials than there were even a year ago.

The latest project that addresses this issue is a new movie/concert that will be in theaters entitled Call+Response. I first heard of this movie as I was watching a Dr. Phil show last week, which I admittedly rarely view, but it caught my eye as human trafficking was the subject of this particular episode. I then received John Piper’s blog in my email where it was highlighted again.

The horrible inhuman crime of human trafficking is not just in other countries, but right here in the United States. All types of people are participating in this crime, even a doctor from Oklahoma who was exposed going overseas to participate in purchasing sex with these under age stolen children. By putting it in the spotlight with movies such as this, people reacting then responding(and we have movie title), those who are involved in human trafficking can no longer hide as they have been.

Danny Aiken on Human Trafficking Of Prostitution And The Giving Of The Gospel

Danny Akin has posted on a subject that I had researched and wrote on about a year ago.  I asked then for those who would help these women, and while there is a small group who are, we need voices to speak against kidnapping of children, young girls,  human trafficking, with a lie to the parents that they will provide their children a better life, only for them to take these women, girls, and push them into prostitution. Will there be any takers?
