Dwight McKissic And Whole Worship Team To Be At Emmanuel In Enid

I can’t wait for the service at church today. Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy and look forward to going to church every Sunday, but today’s service is going to be special.  Dwight McKissic, along with his whole worship team, from Arlington’s Cornerstone church, will be at Emmanuel Baptist, my home church.

To watch the service live, or to watch “video on demand” during the week, simply click here. To watch Monday or later, simply click on the sidebar where it says “video on demand.”

I first knew of Dr. Dwight McKissic a couple of years ago, during the beginning of the controversy over the IMB policies. I further came to know him and his staff last April, when my husband and I attended the Holy Spirit conference hosted by Cornerstone church, where I was blown away by the Cornerstone choir and worship team. It is exciting to be able to be a part of that again. He and his team will be at both Sunday services in the morning, and again in the evening service.

If you want to listen to a wonderful, spirit filled minister preach the Bible, sing along with some wonderful worship music that honors the name of God, then watch either live Sunday or at your convenience on Monday or thereafter, as that is when the service should be archived. It can only add to the meat you have gotten from your own Sunday local church service, and this meat won’t cost you anything other than your time, and a computer. It might just change your life.

  1. I watched most of Dr. McKissic’s sermon Debbie. His message of racial reconciliation in the church should be preached from every pulpit in America.

I’ve heard him preach that message before. It’s good and anointed. I’m going to watch your live service at some point later. Send our Pastor back when you’re done.Glad the services are going well.

  3. Speaking as one who was there along with my husband, it was wonderful. The church as a whole was very receptive, and the sermon Dwight gave was powerful, and I was at the early service (8:30 a.m.) with little or no sleep due to grand kids and two teething, but I was awake and alert(two things that rarely occur at the same time) and even alert in Sunday School afterward.

Alan Paul: I really hope you get to hear the entire message, it was great.

Alan S: Well, OK, we’ll send them back, but after tonight ok? I think we need one more time of that preaching and music from the Worship team.

Ha ha I looked at the title of my post today, and my opening paragraph, and thought, Oh, some may think he’s coming for good. But no, he is right where the Lord wants him, at the very church he began in his garage, which then grew to become one of the largest in Arlington, with a phenomenal staff, you included Alan S.

  4. I watcher the worship and almost all of the message (I think)… I had to shut down at noon though – not sure how long he went. I had to go right after he was talking about how he was passing out flyers at the Winn Dixie to only black people and he hadn’t realized he wasn’t inviting white people until his kids asked him why he was only inviting black people…

  5. Alan: I think Dwight quit speaking shortly after noon, so you didn’t have much further to go. I also noticed as I was poking around that the audio is available already, although it does not have the music in it.

  6. I am linking my blog to the full meal deal once it’s up and then inviting everyone I know to come listen to it… I think it’s that important.

  7. Thanks Alan. I think it’s an important message too.
